We went up to Ag.Ioannis to look for pipakirs TB but unfortunately we couldn't find the cache although we searched for a long time. A part of the stonewall was broken, we also tried to look between those rocks but we had no luck today. Maybe next time. Team licher will come back.

2. Η γεωκρύπτη με το όνομα Vithos φαίνεται αρκετά προσιτή σε σχέση με το Λιτόχωρο. Βρίσκεται στην αρχή του μονοπατιού για τον Εννιπέα. Πρόκειται για ένα μικροσκοπικό κουτάκι που είναι κολλημένο με μαγνητάκι στον πάγκο δεξιά (αναφέρουν οι οδηγίες).

Nice cache on the way to the Mountains of Goods…The Box was empty. We placed a little paper to replace the Logbook. Maybe the next Cacher can bring a new one… TFTC Kivotos

4. Παλαιός Άγ. Παντελεήμονας.  N 39° 59.392 E 022° 34.143

Cache lies on Palaios Panteleimonas village, located in Pieria. It's on 528m altitude. Reaching the place involves some hiking and some mild climbing on some rocks.

The cache is a medium sized transparent container. It's equipped with a logbook, couple of batteries and some goodies you have to find out! It was a hike organized exclusively for geocaching by eliasbats and agatha, and believe me, we had tried a really big number of hideouts until we came to a decision. The view to enjoy is absolutely marvelous (528m altitude), having the opportunity to observe the endless green plain of (the district of) Pieria while it mixes with the deep blue gull of Thermaikos. Watch out for the slippery inclined terrain.

[The cache is located] in a hole, under one of the biggest rocks 10m above the main trail. It is well hidden in such a hole. Search all holes carefully!]

Really nice village Palaios Panteleimonas, very quiet on this moment of the Year…no "caravans" of Tourists walking through the village… Not so easy to find the good rock caching the Box. But finally found after about ten minutes research at the coordinates N39 59.386’ E022° 34.148’. TFTC eliasbats

While my caching friends are off climbing Olympos, I decided to place a cache near our hotel. Something for them to find when they return, and another cache for Greece, which has so few of them. You are looking for a waterproof Nalgene pill container. 

 

 

Small note on cache maintenance: Local cacher asteraki will maintain this cache when I am not in Greece. Thanks!
